Calimasale wishes all mothers around the world a Happy Mother’s Day. May your sons and daughters buy you expensive gifts and treat you nicely today.

But friends, as we ponder upon this faithful day, we must not forget that we should not JUST appreciate our mothers today. In fact, everyday, we must celebrate our mothers. These jewels that we must treasure no matter what. I mean honestly, imagine spending everyday of your life facing teenagers everyday.

Today, me and my family went to the airport for dessert at Swensen’s to celebrate mother’s day. However, we were gravely disappointed when we saw a queue the size of Brazil at the famous ice-cream shop. Therefore, we decided to postpone our dessert together to the next day. Wherever I turned, I saw mothers holding bouquets of beautiful flowers smiling radiantly at their children. I envied the children who could afford these lavish gifts. When my father saw my poignant face, he gave me ten dollars and literally shooed me, my sister and my brother off to buy gifts. I skipped happily at the thought of buying my mom a present. My brother bought chocolates, my sister bought a glittery, lavender frame, and I bought my mom a rose. The rose was so pretty! I bought one for myself too. I was worried that people might get the wrong idea that I was a mother and that was my reason for holding a flower. But hey, I didn’t mind.

My mom was surprised at the presence of gifts for her. I gave mine to her happily and wished her a happy mother’s day for the millionth time.

I love you mother. Sorry for losing the $4.50 currypuffs just now. I’ll pay you back.

self-proclamation.
My life is not a fascination worth the scrutiny of those who watch over me. Yet, I live amongst thin air and sparkling personalities. I am an avid fan of the KoreanPop scene. So bring me to the number thirteen.

read my lips.

they're watching.
