Saturday, May 31, 2008/11:00 PM
Hello everyone. My name is namira nasir and I am currently reading this book called Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. It is a book that my beloved tweenie, Nabilah Zaharah Shah, lent to me. I wanted to borrow it because nabilah insisted. Thank you nabilah. I love you so much. You know why?

Because, ladies and gentlemen, If I were to rate this book upon ten, I'd give it a five hundred. Edward Cullen is the most hottest book character in the world. (right nabilah?) I am reaching the end and I must say, I have fallen in love with it. I LOVE IT. Thank you nabilah. I am going to watch the movie with tweenie five million times. haha, thanks:)

Here are some pictures for EYE CANDY:

Blog shit
Tuesday, May 27, 2008/7:33 PM
You know what, this may come as a surprise to all of you, but I have absolutely no mood to blog. So, since we have to go to my worst case scenario. I am going to blog about my day.

Alright, so I woke up today. Feeling the way I always do. So yeah, in the morning I was really pissy and bad moody. And then I went to meet syafiqah. HAHA. Well, I wasn't late today right syaf? yeah, she was the later one today. I still don't know why siska and syafiqah says I alwayyyyyyyyyyyyyysss come late. When I don't. Honestly, I think I am one of the most punctual people on the planet. No seriously. I make good time. Siska and Syafiqah are just jealous. HAHA. no lar. They are the more punctual people. SOrry.

Yeah so me and Syafiqah walked like every single day.

And then we reached school. And then WE SANG OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM! GASP! I CANNOT BELIEVE IT! WANNA HEAR THE LYRICS?

Mari Kita rakyat Singapura,
Sama-Sama Menuju... Bahagia.

You know what! Today in english class was sooo funny. We were all listing down descriptive words that could be used in our essay to describe the education system in Pasir Ris Crest Secondary. So, everyone was like giving very intellectual answers like the teachers are very engaging and the academics are very remarkable and all. ANd then this conversation happened. FUNNY SIA.

Mr.Shafie: Okay I will ask one of you to describe the CCA in our school.
Joshua inspecting his nails...
Mr. Shafie: So how are your nails Joshua? Okay, give me one descriptive word.
Joshua(while giving signature blur look): HAH? What?
Mr. Shafie: descriptive word...
Joshua: Oh, dunno arh.
Mr. Shafie: Oh okay.

This is what Mr. Shafie wrote on the slide.

CCA:
wide range
interesting
fun
enticing
don't know ah (by Joshua)

I nearly died of laughing.
IT IS SOO FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, moving on.

SO after school, me, siska and syafiqah were walking home. And because siska soo desperately wanted to walk in the rain, we started singing songs by Panic! At the Disco, rihanna and fall out boy. ANd guess what? it started raining. FOrget rain dance sia. If you want it to rain when there are droughts occuring in your country, just get us to sing there and there you have it, enough rain for the cultivation of a year's worth of crops. No lah, I'm just joking. My girls are fantastic singers, really.

SO yeah, it started to rain. TOo heavily. SO we dropped by siska's house for a dry off. ANd it turned into this major youtube marathon for the three of us. Our videos ranged from Family guys, backward satanic songs, spongebob, lisanova, the JEM SWEATER SONG. best song in the world. thanks for the day girls.

I will post anyway...

Okay, so today had mother tongue intensive as usual. We learned about 'Melengkapkan Petikan' which in english means 'Finishing Passage'. Well it doesn't make sense when you read it like that but it just means fill in the blanks in a passage. How simple things really are when you simplify it from its complex exterior. Life is seriously misunderstood.

Oh well, during recess I ate pandan cake because it is the softest green pillow in the world. I love pandan cake. My hulabagi girls should now know that if I tell them to buy something for me to eat, they should buy pandan cake unless I tell them otherwise. Like if I say, 'Eh, buy me something to eat. Make sure it's something salty,' then they cannot buy me pandan cake right? HAH! random.

You know what?
Today right, Syafiqah got caught by Mr. Shafie for her hair. Honestly. Why is our school so strict about hair? Like that time, I tied a side ponytail and then Mrs. Sheri told me to get rid of it.

Why am I talking about this? Hasn't this problem been delivered a million times by 1400 students in PRCS? Honestly, Namira.

You know, this has been the most the random blog post EVER.
What has happened to me.?
I'll post again when I have something to talk about.

Bye

Who is my favourite actor EVER?
Monday, May 19, 2008/9:12 AM
So, most of you out there would not be aware about my love for a certain actor. His name is Johnny Depp, and he is the best bloody actor in the world. I have been surfing around youtube and found 97056703947490 videos about johnny depp. Do you know how many youtube nicknames there are that include the words Johnny and Depp or both? Well, this is one video, that I absolutely love.

O'levels are real
Thursday, May 15, 2008/10:20 PM
You know what? I've suddenly realised the reality of this whole O'level thingy. I mean honestly. This is real you know. When we were secondary one or two we didn't really take the O's seriously. We say things like 'Aiyah, O'levels are so far away. Like two years. Haha.' or things like 'Aiyah, O'levels are going to be easy. Just read book,' or something. We didn't realise that the O's are going to affect OUR LIFE, OUR FUTURE. And yet as I sit here blogging, my malay O'level is approximately ten days away.

SO, what I realised is that I have to read malay books because the whole world is doing so. So what if the titles of these books are like 'Diana' or 'Percintaan Perang' or whatever. It is still malay books. And I will read it anywhoo.

On an entirely different issue. I have fallen in love with indonesian dramas. They are so addictive. We can ignore the fact that all of the dramas on the channel have the same storyline, practically the same characters and all that. But still, they are so addictive and they leave you hanging at the end of the show and make you beg for more. It is this state of mind that I have never experienced.

Below are commonly used storylines in Indonesian dramas:
1) Either the male or the female lead is physically disabled.
2) The guy would be very rich and the girl would be very poor.
3) The guy's parents don't like poor people and hence object to the guy-girl relationship.
4) One of the guy's parents (either mom or dad) would be secretly working with another girl to break the guy and girl up so that the other girl can be with the rich guy.
5) The other girl would have men working for her that can beat up the girl's brother and say things like 'Kamu jauhi dari Bayou jika tidak siap kamu.' which means 'You'd better stay away from Bayou or else.'
6) The lead girl would have names that are actually Indonesian words like Jelita, Diva, Kasih, Cinta and all that.

SO yes. They are quite addictive.
Good night kiddos:)

The time has descended upon us.

Now, we can all pretend, as we wish, about our marks that we are going to receive tomorrow. We can either say that our marks are terrible or just convince ourselves that we will get by. But that doesn't really matter now does it? I mean, who cares about what you think about your marks? All that matters are your marks, bad or good, we are just going to have to accept it. For better or for worse. For sickness or in health. For as long as we all shall live.

Now before this blog post starts sounding like wedding vows, let me reveal to all of you why I have suddenly appeared with such an outburst of academical expression. You see, I have been lying about my house today, moaning and groaning about tomorrow. How I dread it's oncoming presence and how I may just not be all that mentally prepared to accept it. BUT HOW MY FRIENDS, am I not going to accept it. I have to face those F9's or other grades nonetheless. It's not as if me slopping around will cure any damage that has already been done.

SO, this blog post is just to convince myself that I should not dread the past or the future. AND YOU KNOW WHY? Because it is either gone or fated. I cannot do anything about it but to study as hard as I can. SO I am so sorry if I affected anyone emotionally or mentally. My deepest sorry-ness.

I love you mommy

Me, my dad and my mom.

Well, today is mother's day. Don't we all love our mothers? DON'T WE? Well, I hope you all do. Because your mothers are one of the best thing in our lives that we can ever possess. You know, if we did something wrong, our dearest friends or colleagues, no matter how close we are to them, may judge us fiercely. What's worse, they may hide behind their impression that they will always have your back, but they may not. But what we can always count on are our mothers. Our beloved mothers will always tell us the way it is because they know that if they try to lie to pacify the situation, it may turn out to be the opposite effect that may happen. That is why we can trust our mothers to always treat us with sincerity and honesty.

I love you mommy.

Have you guys ever wondered on how tall I am as compared to my dad?

My beloved tweenie...
Wednesday, May 07, 2008/6:49 PM

Dear Nabilah Zaharah Shah, we have been tweenies for four years.
We met at dance. The CCA we were in. Remember dance?
I always turned to you and you always turned to me.
We were our own silent confidants.
Helped each other we did, and I will always treasure the moments we spent and the things you did to help me when I was distressed.
When I called you, it seemed one hour wasn't enough. Haha.
We've been there for each other through thick and thin and I am so proud to call you my tweenie.
We are alike, but it's our own personalities and out characteristics that have preserved this bond of sisterhood we have both came to know and love.

Happy tweenie Day

I hate BroadBand and SpyWare

You might be wondering. WHy hasn't namira nasir been gracing you all with her presence online AS frequently anymore? Oh well it is because an incompetent virus has entered my computer and taken it hostage. It has not been working and it really sucks. Now, it moves with the speed of a dying turtle. Yes. that slow. For more details go to my sister's blog.

I have been really sick lately. I have had a fever, a cold and a flu which is the same thing as a cold but I decided to put it there for more effect. I have been bed-ridden and unable to move. This would probably be the reason why I was absent for two of my important papers but yes. I hate being sick. It is so sickening. What is more sickening is that some of my classmates, mostly guys, were unable to detect my absence on that faithful day. Which is actually, humiliating.

The worst part about being sick is not being able to drink cold water and coke. Also. The worst part about being sick was that I was unable to meet upi with my girls to study. When I think about it though, I think it was for the better. Other wise I would have burdened them with my cries of pain and moans of unbearable torture.

But I love them anywhoos..

self-proclamation.
My life is not a fascination worth the scrutiny of those who watch over me. Yet, I live amongst thin air and sparkling personalities. I am an avid fan of the KoreanPop scene. So bring me to the number thirteen.

read my lips.

they're watching.
