So, let me run you down on the thingays that happened this weekend. It has been a real slackfest of a weekend. GOODNESS. You know, usually I'd be freaking out by now. And I secretely am. I just have a good way of masking my fear as overwhelming confidence. Or that is what my parents frequently imply. I swear, if I do not do well for my O'levels, I am not going to hear the end of it.

Saturday:
Okay. On Saturday, I studied a bit with a friend ;) It turned to more of a chatting seminar with him. I tried to study a twinge of physics despite my fears of physical sciences. My phobia. *shudders* I really couldn't do physics ever since that day while I was doing a physics paper and I couldn't do seven questions in a row so I freaked out and cried. I felt so bloody unprepared that I thought I was going to fail my O'levels so I just lay on my bed and cried. When I regained several scraps of my sanity to muster up courage and call Zafran who knocked some sense into me, I tried doing some maths. After that, I never touched Physics again. So it was super hard trying to face it again.

Sunday:
Sunday is today. Or is going to be yesterday in 44minutes. Just shows how much I have stayed up. Well, today was REALLY slacky and lazy. Didn't do much that was interesting. HAHA. Well... I did go shopping today with my family. And.... I BOUGHT MY PROM DRESS!!!!! *screams* WOOOOH. YES! I have FINALLY bought that blasted dress of mine. About bloody time. Because since I have only a one day transaction from O's to GRAD NITE, I thought I wanted to spend it sleeping and watching Mamma Mia online. HELL YEAH. And guess what everybody....

it's white.

God help me as I try with all my heart and soul to try and not get any stains on my dress. You know how much of a klutz I am. Remember that time at Maryam's wedding? Yeah. I really don't want a repeat of that episode please. Thank you. I love you.

So yeah. It's white. I also have an announcement to make about the dress that will probably make everyone scream and jump for joy, I know someone did. I... cannot wear heels with the dress. The lady at the store told me not to. SO YES. I am not going to be any taller. Yes you can rejoice now.

So. I watched two MAJOR movies this weekend:
1) Indiana Jones. Something to do with a Crystal Skull. It is somewhat very difficult for me to remember the exact arrangement of words of the title. And, I think there is a problem with me. Harrison Ford looked extremely hot doing this movie. He is just so dashing. I watched Indiana Jones and The Lost Crusade once. He is very good-looking. goodness what is with me and older men?

2) Forrest Gump. SO BRILLIANT. It's like To Kill A Mockingbird. The literacy of the entire movie is just so dense and profound. My favourite line is of course this one:

'My momma always said, life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.'

OH ENCORE! ENCORE!
five stars sweetheart for both of them.

OKAY OKAY I MUST LEAVE NOW AND REST. tomorrow, is my mug a thon day. MUG A THON MUG A THON. wooh. pumped up people.

muahahaha.

Okay so you might be wondering, what is this secondary four person who takes O'levels this year doing ONLINE and blogging no less. You must think that I am out of my mind not studying or revising. In actual fact, I am studying. I am practising to be more exact. Practising english. By updating my virtual journal, I am actually spurring my english cells in me and making them all pumped up to do english. All in preparation for tomorrow's english examinations, dear friends. So please, spare your worries.

So, today was my Chemistry Paper 2. Oh it was such an emotion filled day. Full of anticipation, paranoia and yet, joy. One cannot escape the exploding feeling of contentment when they step out of the examination hall after a do-able exam. Let me depict to you mortals about the scene in the hall today.

Bright lights, unknown faces pacing the hall, the anticipation that hung thick in the air-conditioned hall. Silence, other than the occasional ragged and shaky breath of an unprepared examinee. The silence that would have been louder than if everyone were shouting their emotions at that exact moment. The students heard it, despite their best efforts to ignore it. Murmured prayers, hollow footsteps, the nervous clicking of pens were the only sounds that petruded the silence in the hall. Eyes flickered from face to face, scanning through the expressions of their fellow examinees to find a reflection of the fear that laid behind their own. After what seemed to be an eternity of insanity, a voice ringing with authority yet, displaying a twinge of support for the unfamiliar students below him echoed 'Alright, you may begin your paper now.'

shudders. Is this what it's going to be like for every paper? Sheesh.

You know what, even though I am online now, there is no one except Xuan Jie who is online. I think, and this is my theory, that everyone is secretly online. You know, surfing through blogs and videos absent-mindedly but they are only APPEARING offline. Why? Perhaps to escape the critical voices of friends who might say, 'Why aren't you studying?' Sigh. KIASU people.

Haha. Gabra.

If I had a nickel for everytime Siska said 'Get it?', I'd be richer than Donald Trump.

muggers and buggers.

Well, look who's here to update. WHICH IS REALLY STUPID. Because of all times, Namira Nasir chooses NOW to update her blog. But hey, can you honestly blame me? My overwhelming sense of randomness tends to consume me and takes control of my entire being and makes my fingers go tap tap tap on the keyboard. Anyway, what better way to prepare for my English O's right?

On second thought, nobody say O'levels. I shall now substitute the word with... The Finale; Our Last Performance. Everybody would rather use words like THE DEATH DAY or DOOMSDAY or THE DAY WHERE WE SHALL ALL DIE but if we really look at it in a positive glow, this is what we have been working for. I mean, might as well get it over with. SHEESH. I'm starting to sound like my class boys.

Okay, so I have sort of been mugging (gasps) for the finale and I really must say, it's very draining. I've been doing major overnighters and have not been eating and I think I had a fever this morning. There might be someone (ahem ahem) who has been taking a fanatical interest in my health lately which is really sweet but I need to study. It's like, breathing for me now. "one does not love breathing" -Scout.

Principle of Moments: For a body to be in equllibrium, the sum of clockwise moments about a point must be equal to the sum of anti-clockwise moments about that same point.

Yeah so as you can see, I am absolutely enslaved by the urge to revise and berulangkaji. That's why I am morphing this blog post into a post/revision for me. Hahaha. Well its not really working because I am sort of stating things that are really basic. Maybe I should state Faraday's Law. OH GREAT. I forgot. Is direction FARADAY or LENZ? GREAT. I forgot. I am such a dumb blonde.

'Oh well,' she sings.

I should talk about chemistry now. I've already understood Cations and Anions. OOH I KNOW.

Graphite

Now, graphite here is a real bugger. He is the ONLY covalent structure that CONDUCTS ELECTRICITY. What IS UP with that? You know why? People say its because he has a sea of delocalised electrons in his structure that are mobile and can carry electricity. But GUESS WHAT? Do you know that he is soft and slippery? Yeah, I know. Why? Well you know that graphite is arranged in layers right? So, word has it that the forces between the layers are super weak so they can slide over each other. That's why he is so soft and slippery. GOD. What the hell right? sheesh.

This is how I explained to zafran why very reactive metals form compounds that have very high melting and boiling points:

Zafran: hey namira, why do very reactive metals' compounds have very high melting/boiling points?
Namira tries to explain chemically but she lost her train of thought.
Namira: Well, let's put it this way okay? Lets say.... Magnesium is this SUPER romantic who is really in love with oxygen. Like MAJORLY in love. okay?
Zafran: *blank face*
Namira: Now imagine copper is this stupid player/casanova that cheats on every woman he's with. Now, the relationship between magnesium and oxygen will definitely be stronger right because magnesium is this romeo of a romantic. i.e a lot of heat energy will be needed to break bonds. But the relationship between copper and oxygen will be really crumbly and will be easily broken because copper sucks right? so little heat energy is needed right? so yeah.
Zafran: *blank face* ooookkaaaayyy..

Chemistry is way better when you create a story. And a lot more interesting.

what about maths? hmm...

4-3=1

yeah okay. oh maths is so DUH. its just really irritating. and you cannot make a story with maths. Like what can I possibly say? Oh. I had four sweets you know, and then I ate three so I only left one. stupid right? So I really don't bother.

okay, I have to go now. It's one in the morning and I studied eight hours today. WOOH.

hey you, thanks for studying with me today. I needed it. (:

What you have just read/witnessed is the abnormal and random typing of my 13months old nephew, Firdaus Bte Mohd Feroz. This boy is really CUTE and I love him with all my heart my he is super messy and destructive. Right now as we speak(or as I type in a sense) my family is picking up lego pieces that are strewned all over the floor. OH GOD HE IS SO HILARIOUS. You see, he likes to clean, don't get me wrong but its the way he cleans that is so funny. He puts one lego in the box and we all do the same. So there are about seven lego pieces on the floor. And then, he topples the entire box and empties it. Right now he is staring at me with a red wheel jabbed in his mouth. AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW...

So today, I would like to talk about the FOUR SEVEN PRANK ON SYED HANAN. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! HAha,. it was super funny and the overall prank was initiated by me and Liyana who ROCKS because she came up with the idea of sticking post-its on his FACE and I was like hell yeah but stupid LEE MOY MOY had to bloody ruin everything for us. Anyway the post-it said 'I am Hanan and I have staples in my hair. Cool huh?' MUAHAHAHAHAHA! I put the staples in his hair as part my devilishly evil and brilliantly thought out plot to make hanan look funny or funnier and to gain revenge for all the times he has ridiculed me and say that I am mean when I am really not but he is absurdly paranoid and mad. I am going to post his picture here so that you can all see. I wanted to take the picture of him with the post-its on his face but that stupid chinese teacher was in the class so I couldnt take my camera out. stupid stupid dumb insolent brat.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

hanan I hope you don't mind me putting this picture. you were going to put it on your friendster anyway. So...

self-proclamation.
My life is not a fascination worth the scrutiny of those who watch over me. Yet, I live amongst thin air and sparkling personalities. I am an avid fan of the KoreanPop scene. So bring me to the number thirteen.

read my lips.

they're watching.
