Racism is a very big issue in the world. Especially in America, social and racial prejudice still lives on. (*Cue ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ synopsis) It seems like some people still cannot stand that other races live among them. People of different religions or beliefs. Its absolutely revolting how some people can actually loathe a person of different colours and religions.
Me and Syafiqah were and Siska’s house. We were watching random videos on YouTube when we stumbled upon this video where Tyra Banks was interviewing a family of racists.
This is the video. Don’t be shocked at what you are about to see because it will shock you.
Imagine knowing a family that inculcates racial discrimination against the ‘Blacks’. Parents that bring up their child with the idea that the African Americans are the enemy and that they should avoid them at all costs. What kind of people are these? I was absolutely disgusted at the father and the mother. The father especially. I mean, you can’t just ship off African Americans because they are of different a color than you.
My message to all Racists:
‘People who cannot stand living with different races are considered immature. Being the majority race does not mean that you are more superior. It’s okay to stand up for your beliefs but it does not mean you should look down upon others. There is a thin line between standing up for your beliefs and crushing other religions to so called ‘make your kind more superior’. I have up most respect for Americans, white or black. But one cannot help but have rage or anger in their souls when they see or meet people like you. Your children are not to blame. Bringing up your family with this concept would only make your child socially deprived as no one, I repeat, no one would want to be friends with a racist. I definitely wouldn’t. Honestly, what kind of example are you setting for your children? That violence is key? I wouldn’t be surprised if one day, they would just betray you and then I hope you realize your mistake and it’s not too late. People who cannot stand living with different races are considered immature, and I think it’s time to grow up.’
I love all my friends. I don’t look at their race or color. I love them for who they are. So, let’s together avenge racism and wipe it out permanently from our society.
self-proclamation.
My life is not a fascination worth the scrutiny of those who watch over me. Yet, I live amongst thin air and sparkling personalities.
I am an avid fan of the KoreanPop scene. So bring me to the number thirteen.
