O'levels are real

You know what? I've suddenly realised the reality of this whole O'level thingy. I mean honestly. This is real you know. When we were secondary one or two we didn't really take the O's seriously. We say things like 'Aiyah, O'levels are so far away. Like two years. Haha.' or things like 'Aiyah, O'levels are going to be easy. Just read book,' or something. We didn't realise that the O's are going to affect OUR LIFE, OUR FUTURE. And yet as I sit here blogging, my malay O'level is approximately ten days away.

SO, what I realised is that I have to read malay books because the whole world is doing so. So what if the titles of these books are like 'Diana' or 'Percintaan Perang' or whatever. It is still malay books. And I will read it anywhoo.

On an entirely different issue. I have fallen in love with indonesian dramas. They are so addictive. We can ignore the fact that all of the dramas on the channel have the same storyline, practically the same characters and all that. But still, they are so addictive and they leave you hanging at the end of the show and make you beg for more. It is this state of mind that I have never experienced.

Below are commonly used storylines in Indonesian dramas:
1) Either the male or the female lead is physically disabled.
2) The guy would be very rich and the girl would be very poor.
3) The guy's parents don't like poor people and hence object to the guy-girl relationship.
4) One of the guy's parents (either mom or dad) would be secretly working with another girl to break the guy and girl up so that the other girl can be with the rich guy.
5) The other girl would have men working for her that can beat up the girl's brother and say things like 'Kamu jauhi dari Bayou jika tidak siap kamu.' which means 'You'd better stay away from Bayou or else.'
6) The lead girl would have names that are actually Indonesian words like Jelita, Diva, Kasih, Cinta and all that.

SO yes. They are quite addictive.
Good night kiddos:)

self-proclamation.
My life is not a fascination worth the scrutiny of those who watch over me. Yet, I live amongst thin air and sparkling personalities. I am an avid fan of the KoreanPop scene. So bring me to the number thirteen.

read my lips.
