Protection against those who prowl.

Okay this blog post is dedicated to those of you who, like me, are simply terrified of people who insist on forcing upon us fixed prices coupons for unknown events at Toa Payoh or pens that cost two dollars when they cost no more that seventy cents.

Hear me out, I am not a terrible person. I know that these organisations have the best intentions at heart. I'm sure that they only want to help the less fortunate by raising money. But sometimes, we have to draw a line at the persistence of some sellers. I mean, when we say no, please do not persist. I mean here is one conversation I once had with a seller. Turn the clock back four months.

Girl: Hi, my name is Carol and I am trying to help the less fortunate by selling these coupons that are only priced for five dollars. It's a bargain.
Namira: Umm no thank you.
Girl: Oh come on. Don't you care about the less fortunate?
Namira: I do, but I don't have any money.
Girl: I just saw you buying a bubble tea just now. You gave the lady five dollars. Don't lie to me.
Namira: What? Yeah I got three fifty change. That's not five dollars isn't it?
Girl: Yeah whatever. I hope your bubble tea tastes nice and is worth it.

What the HELL!
Okay the thing about me is, I cannot make up proper and sarcastic insults on the spot. I need to warm up or already know that the person is evil before saying anything. But at that time, I couldn't even say anything. I was just standing there and hoping a meteor falls on that lady's head. I was just too gobsmacked. How could anyone?

I mean those of you who are working as these kinds of sellers no offence, it's not all of you. It's just some persistent people who just insist on making people feel bad about not buying their products. That's not the aim of your job isn't it? NO IT ISN'T.

I will update later when I can think of something else to talk about.

self-proclamation.
My life is not a fascination worth the scrutiny of those who watch over me. Yet, I live amongst thin air and sparkling personalities. I am an avid fan of the KoreanPop scene. So bring me to the number thirteen.

read my lips.

they're watching.
