Watch the horse parade for the price of fame HEY.
Hello. I think it is important that I say hello to my readers before officially starting my blog post. I should say hello or some other form of salutation to all of you before starting my overall post because it is good to pretend like I am talking to you face to face instead of through a computer screen. Some psychological deficiency that I have.
Before I start the post proper, I have to make an announcement. Yesterday night, I was talking to Zafran on the phone and he dared me to do something. Something that I never thought I would have to do for anyone. He didn't actually dared me but I'm pretty sure he implied something. He said I couldn't last a week without being sarcastic once! Tsk. Ammar Zafran don't underestimate me, remember your nightmare? Who came to your rescue? That's right.
So I cannot be sarcastic for an entire week and here are the stakes.
Namira wins: Zafran watches TWILIGHT with Namira again.
Zafran wins: Namira must endure a horror movie with Zafran.
Why am I telling you all this? Because I think that at times I am sarcastic on my blog. I don't know how but sarcasm can be transmitted virtually.
So do you think I can handle it? My sister says I can't.
Okay enough of that. I want to talk about my countdown party. I went to the Asian Civillations Museum opposite the Fullerton Hotel. And during the 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 part, I met Michael and Michelle. They might sound like brother and sister but they are far from that. They came from the Fullerton hotel opposite so Michelle was in a knee length white flowy dress and he was in a suit. So this was how it went. It's so bloody remarkable that I am still brooding over it.
DJ from 91.3fm: OKAY EVERYONE TEN SECONDS TO THE NEW YEAR! 10, 9, 8, 7, 6....
Michael (who is standing two metres away from me with Michelle): Michelle my darling, I love you so much. Will you marry me?
Namira and Michelle: Oh my god.
Michelle: YES. I DO. OH MY GOD OF COURSE I WILL!
Namira(who couldn't contain herself): OH MY GOD CONGRATULATIONS!
Michael: Thanks. My name is Michael and this is my fiancee Michelle.
And then that is when they kissed.
In front of my face.
And in front of two hundred people.
With the song LOW by Flo-rida and T-pain playing in the background.
So sweet. And I am not being sarcastic by saying this.
Before the countdown started I met a boy named Sebastian. This is how our conversation went.
Sebastian: Uh hi. Can me and my friend join you and your sister for the countdown?
Namira: I don't think that's a good idea.
Sebastian: Why?
Namira: Because I don't think the people joining us will be too happy about that.
Sebastian: Oh. Okay. Sorry.
Namira: Oh it's okay. Just taking precaution you know.
Sebastian: Uhuh yeah I know.
Namira: What's your name?
Sebastian: Oh my name is Sebastian. (grinning)
Namira: Oh hi Sebastian. My name is Namira.
Sebastian: Hi. How old are you?
Namira: Sixteen.
Sebastian: You don't look sixteen.
Namira: SO how old do I look like?
Sebastian: Fifteen. How old do you think I look like?
Namira: seventeen.
Sebastian: eh you are correct!
Namira: can I ask you a question? Don't be offended kay?
Sebastian: Sure.
Namira: are you drunk? (eyes beer can)
Sebastian: haha. no. I can drink alot of alcohol and I will never get drunk. Like I Christmas, I drank vodka like no tomorrow.
Namira: Righteous.
And then we talked about where we go to school. His ex whose name is Jenny who is in PRCS (how freaking ironic). He goes to ITE, didn't study for his O's but got 24, he doesn't know how old his girlfriend is, his doesn't like clubbing because there are no pretty girls, he likes punk rock and not techno because it gives him a headache and he likes to skateboard. He is really cool and was wearing a Simple Plan T-shirt.
I am so going to more countdown parties.
